Fresh Herb Stuffing

Ingredients:
  • About 1 pound bread, chopped into cubes, or a pre-made stuffing cube mix
  • Butter or oil for sauteing
  • 1 onion (included, T&D Farm, or John Givens)
  • 2 medium Carrots (included, John Givens)
  • 2 celery stalks (Included, John Givens)
  • 2 eggs (optional)
  • Several sprigs each fresh thyme and sage, chopped finely (Included, Kenter Canyon Farm)
  • Several sprigs Parsley, chopped (included, John Givens)
  • Two cloves Garlic (Included, T&D Farm)
  • 2 or 3 cups chicken or turkey broth (make broth from the turkey neck!)
  • Salt and pepper


Make sure the bread is toasted or slightly dried out. 

Chop the herbs finely, making sure to remove the woody stems from the thyme, sage and rosemary.  The parsley stem is fine to chop and include.
